The following Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CybersecuritySoftStart.com website and its associated Learning Management System (LMS) powered by LearnDash (collectively, “the Sites”). By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
Cybersecurity Soft Start (“CSS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may update or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Sites constitutes acceptance of such changes.
1. School or Organizational Authorization
If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of an educational institution, business, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms. In that case, “you” or “User” refers to that entity and its authorized representatives.
If you do not have such authority or do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Sites or access any CSS content.
2. Permitted Use
The Cybersecurity Soft Start website and LMS are designed to provide educational content, resources, and curricula related to cybersecurity education.
Permitted Users may include:
- Educators, administrators, or training coordinators affiliated with a recognized academic institution or educational organization.
- Students enrolled in approved cybersecurity education programs.
- Authorized institutional partners or affiliates.
Permitted Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Access and use the content through the LearnDash LMS for educational or instructional purposes.
- Download or print course materials for classroom, institutional, or individual study use only.
All use of the Sites and their content must support educational outcomes. No materials may be sold, sublicensed, or used for profit-generating purposes.
3. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Reproduce, redistribute, or publicly display any content or materials from the Sites for commercial use.
- Share, distribute, or otherwise disclose proprietary course materials beyond your authorized users or students.
- Provide login credentials to any third party. Each LearnDash account is for individual use only.
- Modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any CSS content or platform features.
- Upload or distribute malicious code, unauthorized advertisements, or other harmful content.
Any violation of these restrictions may result in suspension or termination of your access and potential legal action.
4. Intellectual Property and Proprietary Rights
All content available through Cybersecurity Soft Start—including, but not limited to, text, course materials, graphics, video, software, and design elements—is the property of Cybersecurity Soft Start or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You acknowledge that:
- All rights, title, and interest in the content and platform remain exclusively with Cybersecurity Soft Start.
- You obtain no ownership rights by downloading or using materials.
- You will maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or restricted-access information obtained through the Sites.
5. Links to Third-Party Websites
The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. Cybersecurity Soft Start does not endorse, monitor, or assume responsibility for:
- The content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites.
- Any products or services offered through those sites.

6. Account and Data Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
If you suspect unauthorized access or a security breach, you must notify Cybersecurity Soft Start immediately.
We employ industry-standard security practices to protect user information and data stored within the LearnDash platform and associated hosting environments.
7. Termination of Access
Cybersecurity Soft Start reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate any account at its discretion if it determines that a user has violated these Terms or engaged in misuse of the Sites.
- Restrict access to any part of the Sites for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons.
Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Sites and destroy any downloaded materials obtained from them.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Sites and all related content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.
Cybersecurity Soft Start disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cybersecurity Soft Start, its affiliates, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- The use or inability to use the Sites.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of user data.
- Any third-party conduct or content on linked websites.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Sites or these Terms is to discontinue use.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California.
